Employee Spotlight: Amy Samok

Need a quote? Time to place an order? Curious about inventory or an order status? If so, odds are you'll be talking to customer service representative Amy Samok. Amy works side-by-side with Courtney Pellett (NEMB Sales Manager, featured in our last newsletter) to ensure that NEMB customers are well taken care of and that your miniature ball needs are met.

Since January, 2009, Amy has been responsible for handling customer inquiries, taking and entering orders and project quoting, as well as handling whatever other tasks come her way. "She has been a great liaison between our customers and our staff," states Courtney. "She is very detail-oriented and has a great knowledge of the product we offer."

Prior to her current position with NEMB, Amy handled accounts payable for 9 years at a plumbing and heating supply company. After a year with us, Amy has settled into her new role. Asked to describe her position in one word, Amy replies, "Challenging." "Keeping track of order and delivery status and taking orders is important," says Amy. "But meeting our customers' needs and keeping them happy is my number one priority."

In her spare time, Amy enjoys camping, spending time with family and friends, and watching her son, Antonio, play sports.
