Tungsten Carbide 44A Miniature Balls

Tungsten Carbide balls have a unique combination of properties: high compression strength, excellent wear resistance and can withstand shock and impact. Typical applications include bearings, ball screws, valves, pen balls, ballizing and flow meters. They are also used for coining and as pivots, swaging, detents and tips for gages and tracers. They are very popular for inspection tools, comparative checking and gauging.

Material Analysis:

Type 44A balls hardness is controlled to within a range Rockwell "A" 90.5 to 91.5 as measured on a parallel surface. Balls are slightly magnetic.
